“The role of
Technology in the 21st century education”
There is a saying that goes “The only
constant in this world is change”, our world is changing and that is inevitable.
One good example of this change is the rapid evolution of technology. We cannot
refuse the fact that if we don’t know how to go with the flow of the changes
that technology has created; you will be left behind with all your old fashion expertise.
Technology
is one of the most unsteady form which keeps on changing for the comfort of
mankind. Some technologies are designed exclusively for the destruction or
environment, but most are designed for the positive effects of environment.
Technology has been a critical part of human; most of the things that we use
today are in advance form and it’s all because of the advancement of
technology. The great benefits technology bring to us is obviously influents
our lives anywhere, not only does the improvement of technology make our lives
more comfortable, but also benefits human beings in various fields ,such as
manufacture, medicine ,education, communication and so on.
In
the field of teaching, technology is but one of the most significant tools in
student’s learning, for an instance, a teacher will post his lessons online and
the students are allowed to access it anytime they want or a teacher will give
them a project and they will just send it through email or a teacher will
discuss everything online. However, the teacher should put in mind that they
should not tamed students in using computers too much because this may led to
laziness and their eagerness to learn may be affected.
Technology
may enhance the traditional methods of learning but undoubtedly cannot replace
the human touch. My point here is that, the quality of the class will depend on
the quality of the teacher and not on the presence of technology that’s been
used.
